Position Overview: 

The VP, SaaS & Infrastructure Operations is responsible for design, engineering, and management of the Entrust Datacard’s Global infrastructure and operational platforms for our commercial portfolio of solutions. This includes the traditional infrastructure and operational platforms such as data centers, networks, as well as new infrastructure services such as cloud services models. In this role, you will work with Business leaders, Enterprise IT and Technical Operations leaders, R&D, and Sales organization to deliver global commercial IT infrastructure to host our growing portfolio of cloud solutions. Responsibilities:
 
Provide Strategic IT Leadership 55%
  • Operating responsibility for sever (7) North America datacenters which are accredited with highest certifications in the Identity and payment ecosystem and servicing our global customers

  • Manage a distributed team of IT professionals responsible for delivery of core infrastructure for our Commercial portfolio of SaaS and Managed Service Solutions.

  • Lead the DevOps organization to enable rapid application delivery, infrastructure and operational readiness.

  • Partner with CIO and OCIO leaders for Global Enterprise IT, Global Cloud Solutions Ops and Global Customer Support & Success, on developing and delivering multi-year strategy and annual operating plans.

  • Partner with a cross functional business and technology team to maintain current and obtain new accreditations in the Identity and Payments ecosystem such as WebTrust, eiDAS, ETSI, Federal ATO (Authority to Operate)

  • Partner with CIO and office of the CIO to create and operationalize a multi-year datacenter standardization roadmap.

  • Partner with CISO organization to ensure best in class security practices are followed.

  • Partner with enterprise IT organization to mature and adopt IT Service management program, Disaster recovery and Business continuity programs.

  • Standardization of infrastructure architecture, delivery and operating rhythm to enable connectivity for a global customer base and workforce.

  • Look for opportunity to leverage the public cloud and EDC private cloud.

  • Produce global/local metrics and reporting to monitor status and to drive opportunities for improvement.

  • Anticipate and pro-actively improve systems and future designs for increased performance and availability.

  • Hold team responsible for maintaining the highest possible performance standards and meeting agreed upon commitments, even under difficult circumstances

  • Manage vendors to ensure applications upgraded; ensure contract SLAs are complied with

  • Analyze trends to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Provide constant and consistent communication with teams

  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to staff, in an effort to maximize productivity

  • Maximize the output and efficiencies of a global and geographically diverse team

  • Identity and drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide ongoing coaching to team members

  • Actively participate in CIO leadership team and ensure constant and consistent communication with peers and colleagues

  • Scope, staff, and manage significant projects, including timelines and deliverables to ensure ongoing operational needs are accounted for
  • Ensuring clear communication and documentation to support IT maturity and improve cross-organizational alignment
Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in a global IT environment with SaaS and Infrastructure Operations

    • Minimum of 7 years experience in Automation & DevOps

    • Minimum 7 years demonstrated experience managing technical staff

  • Experience with plans, designs, and evaluations of cloud services

  • Experience with application, service, and cloud architecture and design

 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent project management skills, technology management skills, and related business skills to support needs of large-scale enterprise

  • Ideal candidate will have strong understanding of industry trends in all areas of security and compliance

  • Past experience establishing and guiding a global team

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

  • Excitement and curiosity to learn new technologies

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and maturity frameworks
