Position Overview:  The position of Sr HR Specialist is responsible for providing HR daily support to Entrust Datacard’s Japan entity both Datacard and Entrust including processing payroll, leading ad hoc projects, some of Business partner role, recruiting, employee relations, providing the local finance with various reports throughout the year,  maintaining HRIS (myHUB) and other associated systems, covering wide ranges of HR tasks.  This position leads daily tasks and various projects independently. Some GA tasks are also covered by this position.


Accountabilities:
  • Works with outside payroll vendor to process monthly payroll, both Datacard entity and Entrust entity
  • Administer and coordinate Employee Onboarding paper work and government required documentation and processes
  • Update payroll allowances or withholdings monthly
  • Personnel data management in PS (attendance, leave, peronal data etc)
  • Provide payroll related data consolidation with the local finance throughout the year
  • Temp and contractor agreement management
  • Lead/drive recruiting whole process from initiating a req, search, interview, offer, onboarding, system close.
  • Give consultation and support to line mgrs to take care of employees who return from maternity, long sick leave and various personal reasons and create the programs individually and take care of various labour related issues based on labour law.
  • Lead/drive and complete ad-hoc HR projects as needed
  • Maintain specific personal information according, following the legal requirement
  • Retirement allowance and policy management
  • Organize and drive the  induction program for new joiners and termination process for leavers and maintain the process to follow the legal requirement and company policy.
  • Some business partner role
  • Some GA related work
But not limited to the above.   rotation periodically.
Qualifications: 
 
Basic:
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in HR role in multinational company
  • Fluent both in oral and written English
  • Good knowledge of Japan Labor Law, labor practices and HR trends
  • Bachelor degree
  • High level of integrity and reliability
  • Accurate data management skills
Preferred:
  • Customer service focused, enjoys supporting people, flexible
  • Team player, strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to meet assigned deadlines, manage time well, optimize resources and prioritize
  • Be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with PeopleSoft
