Senior Specialist – Global Internal Communications and Culture  REQ# 180000BW    
   
Position Purpose: 
The Senior Specialist - Global Internal Communications and Culture will be the catalyst that develops, implements and manages strategic communication plans for our colleagues worldwide. The role will report to and be the right hand to our CHRO to deliver high-impact strategies and vehicles to promote colleague engagement and corporate culture while aligning with corporate goals, objectives and brand. This position is responsible for ensuring consistent communication about corporate news, events and priorities and reflecting the organization’s strategic vision and values.  This position will directly impact our culture at Entrust Datacard creating a learning environment where colleagues are supported and encouraged to do their best work! 
 
Responsibilities:
Key Actions/Activities
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to define, develop and deliver communications strategy to execution of internal programs including employer value proposition, culture of learning, diversity and inclusion, corporate volunteering and giving and the colleague advisory board.
  • Lead our Global Colleague Advisory Board – our internal voice of the customer forum.
  • Create clear, measurable and compelling internal communication strategies, programs and efforts that help recruit, align, motivate, empower and retain employees at all levels.
  • Develop creative programs, activities and global internal communications strategies  lat involve, inform and engage colleagues.
  • Write and manage company-related announcements that reflect business objectives and company values.
  • Manage internal colleague communications strategies and tactics through various forms such as web, social media, newsletters, email, etc.
  • Pursue and understand trends in the internal communications practices and social media environment, and provide ongoing recommendations to the organization.  Develop and implement new social media opportunities as it relates to colleague communications and new hire recruitment.
  • Partner with the marketing organization for the development and coordination of internal corporate videos, collateral and other colleague materials.
  • Develop and manage editorial calendars and production schedules for all internal communications vehicles on an annual basis (i.e., company meetings, events, announcements, videos, newsletters, etc.).
  • Partner and collaborate with the Director, Brand and Communications to ensure corporate brand messaging,  value propositions, strategies and guidelines are communicated consistently, accurately and professionally to colleagues worldwide.
Basic Qualifications
  • The candidate should have five years of corporate communications experience, with an emphasis on internal communications developing strategic internal/employee communications plans that generate measurable results.
  • Experience managing projects with cross-functional teams and strong change management leadership required
  • Proven experience in development and management of intranet strategy & social media environments
  • Possess a strong attention to detail, accuracy and grammar and a demonstrated excellence in editing, proofing, writing and creative design concept skills and in-depth knowledge of Associated Press style
  • Superb communicator who is organized, creative, collaborative, agile, dynamic and ambitious
  • Advanced project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and responsibilities across the communications team
  • Proficient with MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
