The Sales Manager for Bureau Solutions & Instant Issuance (BS & II) Sales Department is reporting to the Head of sales in DCJ. This position is to accelerate the business plan the manager has finalized, manage the Department budget / forecast and manage members in the Department.  This role is expected to improve the BS & II business on which DCJ could count growing revenues every year such by:

 
Externally
  • Retain existing customers : increase the number of orders and amount of revenue from the existing customers
  • Acquire new customers and realize new business : develop the business opportunities to expand the customer base and to realize revenue
  • Propose value and sell solutions to customers : Taking advantage of broadness of EDC products, which includes Hardware, Software, Supplies, and Services, always propose and bring value to customers

Internally

  • Reporting to Head of Sales in DCJ and consulting with the Head of Sales in a proactive way
  • Managing and coaching his or her subordinates
  • Collaborating with Marketing team to drive sales of EDC new products for BS & II
  • Provide custom EDC products with RPQs to meet Japan requirements.
 
Specific responsibilities include the following
 

Commitment to overachieving quota (70%)

  • With the company-wide perspective and strategy in mind, develop and closely follow account plans to realize revenue & margin as scheduled. 
Manage Sales Department   (30%)
  • Manage his or her own team
  • Support his or her subordinate, Head of Sales
Basic Qualifications
  • A minimum of more than 5 years-experience in IT Hardware and/or Software related company
  • A minimum of more than 3 years-experience for managing sales team in IT Hardware and/or Software related company
  • Sufficient experience to ...
    • Do solution selling (seek customer pain / VOC and make proper sales approach)
    • Generate business plan and execute PDCA process to realize the business plan
    • Ideally, do a business to Financial industry and Retail industry
  • University degree or more advanced
  • Working experience at multinational capital company
  • Native level proficiency in Japanese language and communication skill in English
