nCipher is seeking a high energy, creative, self-disciplined Sales Executive to develop opportunities and close revenue with medium and large enterprise and public companies both direct or through channel partners.  Build and manage a large regional territory while targeting and developing premier named accounts.  We want someone who plans, executes and measures their results but also who can improvise, adapt and overcome when obstacles or issues occur.  The ideal candidate also desires to continually learn, improve, share ideas, and help others on their team.


Essential/Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Strong prospecting skills must be able to get meetings with critical contacts at target accounts through cold calling, emails, networking and social media.

  • Establish and work with channel partners and account management team

  • Selling complex enterprise data security solutions

  • Understand the flow of data within large organizations and how to apply data security to their business is a needed skill and experience doing a strong plus

  • Forecast and deliver on their word

  • Strong time and territory management skills


Technical Knowledge/Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience with Solution Selling or Miller Heimann or Sandler is preferred.

  • Experience and good skills with Microsoft office and outlook

  • Experience with is an advantage

  • Ability to learn and articulate solution value points

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills

  • Established relations with key accounts in the region

  • 10 years sales experience with at least 3-5 years of them selling in the IT Security market, experience working with multinational companies is desirable

  •  4-6 years selling security solutions is preferred

  • Must be a proven entity who has consistently met or exceeded their revenue target, goals or quotas. 

  • Background in Data security and encryption or access controls is a strong plus.

  • Experience selling both Direct and through channels

    1. Relationships with Security Partners/resellers a plus

  • Success working for a start-up or in a remote office is a plus

  • Experience and success selling into large commercial accounts

  • Availability to travel 50%+ of the time

  • Experience on teaming up with large global sales teams within the organizations to include the portfolio in larger transactions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Must reside within the served markets

Educational Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Business preferred

  • Business Management
