Position Overview:  The Managed Services Product Manager is a core member of the Certificate Solutions Product Management team and develops and executes product programs that deliver differentiated and compelling service offerings from our global datacenter and cloud platforms.  You will drive both internal and external facing initiatives as an authority on Entrust Datacard Managed Services. As a product owner you will work with engineering teams to define product requirements and interface with global operations to deliver services. The ideal candidate will bring experience and knowledge of commercial cloud technologies from their use in product development and as infrastructure for SaaS applications, as well as DevOps methodologies.


 


This role is based in our Kanata, Ontario, or Boston, MA offices; remote candidates may be considered, depending on the candidate and at the discretion of the hiring manager.


 


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmap within the boundaries of the defined portfolio strategy.
  • Analyzing markets, identifying and segmenting key customer groups, competitive research, analyzing industry and technology trends, and incorporating these into product plans that optimize the tradeoffs between market opportunities, product content, and product timing
  • Drive product strategy to increase utilization and improve customer experience when using products in commercial cloud environments and DevOps oriented product development
  • Develop and prioritize product requirements and user stories for new products/services as well as enhancements / change requirements for existing products/services to meet changing market and competitive needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams consisting of engineers, operations, marketing and stakeholders from business units to develop, implement and maintain products as ensure timely deployments of product releases
  • Provide product support to sales, support, customers and other stakeholders.
  • Enable Sales via product training and joint customer presentations, helping the sales team to position the product suite.
  • Help develop and review content sales/marketing collateral (e.g. customer presentations, white papers, competitive briefings, product demonstrations, data sheets, and FAQs)
  • Evangelize solution value proposition and offerings at customer visits, sales training, seminars, and trade shows
  •  Lead the development of thought leadership materials, customer presentations, white papers, contributed articles and in-depth case studies to promote and showcase Entrust Datacard’s PKI products and services.


Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years high-tech product-management experience

  • Experience developing, managing or implementing DevOps tools and programs

  • Experience developing, managing or implementing Commercial cloud and or SaaS programs/applications

  • Demonstrated success in leading and influencing cross-functional teams

  • Experience creating specifications for use by both technical and non-technical readers
  • Excellent written communication skills and well-honed presentation skills.  Able to communicate complex issues and findings in a clear, structured manner appropriate for intended audience.

  • Strong project management skills, and well-organized.  Ability to structure and prioritize work in a manner that best fits the team and company needs.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization for USA, Canada, Asia and Europe.

  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related technical discipline

  • Experience with PKI, IoT and Cryptographic technologies including hardware security, within enterprise and government applications an asset

  • AGILE development processes experience

  • Experience working with SaaS based solutions or managed services

  • Experience in the Identity Management, IT Security or Web Security space

  • Cloud architecture experience
