Position Overview

As a Product Manager, you will have responsibility for one or more products or product components (referred to as ‘product’ for the remainder of this Job Description) throughout their entire life cycle. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing product to developing new product for the company. You will build product based on existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical knowledge, possess a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

 

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with technical counterparts to define product release requirements. You will work with Product Marketing and Marketing Communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping to understand the product positioning, key benefits and target customers. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product, including communication with the sales channel and key customers.

 

 

Responsibilities

For this role you will join the nShield Product Management team with specific responsibility for the Key Management aspects of the HSM portfolio including but not limited to:

  • The evolution of the current Security World framework to support and manage multiple tenants
  • Controlling access to the HSM through new authentication and authorization mechanism
  • Devising a product strategy for managing keys for external end points (e.g. via KMIP)
  • Developing Graphical User interfaces for policy management, HSM configuration management, HSM monitoring, etc

 



Basic Qualifications

·       Bachelor Degree (or equivalent qualification)

·       Product Management  or relevant discipline

·       Technical security understanding

·       Market segment appreciation

·       Excellent verbal and written communication

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Pragmatic Marketing accreditation

·       Master of Business Administration

·       Knowledge of nShield HSMs, Security World, its deployment and interaction with applications

·       Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

·       Good team working skills
