Position Overview: 

The individual in this role will join a team responsible for all aspects related to the ongoing maintenance of the HRIS landscape as we complete our transition from People Soft to Oracle HCM. This role will also apply understanding of other new technological systems and vendor products to develop innovative system solutions that match business requirements.  Acts as a subject matter expert to provide recommendations for system and process improvements to manage data, facilitate work flow in applications, improve efficiency, analyze data, troubleshoot and utilize technology to meet current and future needs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute all system administration functions including but not limited to dashboard and report management, permission management, configuration modifications, proxy access, and process and form changes
  • Use knowledge of business processes and system functionality to identify ways to customize and enhance current business applications and operating systems to meet the functional needs of the business and improve business process.
  • Work with human resources and business subject matter experts to identify potential configuration enhancements and system modifications to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the systems.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HR systems administration with a focus on best practices in product and application support and data delivery.
  • Review and evaluate all new system releases and enhancements, and recommend and implement approved new functionality.
  • Provide design expertise, analysis, testing and implementation support
  • Provide input for prioritization of business-related activities and initiatives.
  • Participate in discussions on future use of technology and business process improvements.
  • Involved in buy versus build discussions, including RFI and RFP processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding how HR data and systems support other departments and ensure data integrity and security protocols are maintained through those integrations.
  • May provide overall project management for given HR initiatives.
  • Possesses exceptional understanding of technological trends and leverages this knowledge when proposing solutions in an effort to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, configure, implement & support HR data, processes and technology.
  • Ability to facilitate and lead complex discussions in a mixed technical and business team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to absorb, synthesize and present moderately complex information through various forms of easily understood communications to most levels of business leadership
  • Must be able to identify and suggest plans to integrate and enhance new and existing systems.

 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or Human Resources field 
  • Master’s degree.
  • PHR/SPHR certification
  • Oracle Cloud (Fusion) HCM experience
  • Oracle Cloud Payroll and Benefits configuration
  • Oracle EBS Payroll experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management methodologies.
  • Experience on large, complex projects that have enterprise-wide impact and require subject matter expertise of process improvement areas and process improvement tools.
  • Superior knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in the elicitation and formal management of requirements management for Data/Reporting projects.
  • Substantial knowledge of key human resources functions including recruiting, performance management, employee development, compensation, and succession planning.
