Primary purpose of the role:

 nCipher Security, an Entrust Datacard company is a leading global provider of trusted cryptographic solutions to world-leading organizations, protecting their business critical information and applications. Our channel partner are critical to our success, contributing 70% of sales revenues in EMEA, almost 100% in the Asia Pacific region and 30% in the Americas. The engagement, enablement and delivery of marketing programs to our channel partner community is critical to nCipher’s long-term success.

 Working closely with our channel partners you will be responsible for nCipher’s global partner program – developing, driving and implementing the channel marketing strategic plan in the following areas; recruitment, on boarding, enablement, communications and campaigns. A key focus will be to deliver integrated, easy to execute campaigns to our channel partners in order to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets and provide visibility into the results of partner marketing activity. As the key stakeholder of the channel partner portal you will ensure its ease of use, ensure all content is up to date and relevant, and use the portal’s analytics tools to understand and drive engagement. The engagement and success of our channel partners is critical to the success of nCipher.
 

 
Key responsibilities and tasks:
      • Analysis and planning - responsible for developing and implementing the global channel marketing strategy and campaign plan
      • Work closely with the corporate marketing and product marketing teams on the development and production of partner enablement tools and other campaign-related collateral (campaign-in-a-box)
      • Work closely with identified top tier channels and regional field marketing teams to deliver a strategic marketing plan for each channel and provide advanced support for major asset launches/promotions/campaign-in-a-box
      • Support field marketing campaign activities including, co-selling programs with our nFinity technology partners, campaign-in-a-box channel programs and marketing events.
      • Responsible for communicating all channel programs, promotions and coordinating lead generation activities with field marketing.
      • Deliver regular, high-quality channel partner communications
      • Championing the channel partner portal and platform management to support the channel
      • Ensure the smooth running and communication of the channel training program
      • Ownership and delivery of three regional (EMEA, AMS, APAC) Channel Partner Conferences – to include objectives, content, agenda as well as logistics, delivery and production.

Ensure the goals and objectives set out in the global channel marketing strategy and campaign plan are met

Increase partner engagement – target 50% open rate on partner newsletter

  • Increase channel lead deal registrations and opportunities (goal to be agreed with channel sales director)

Deliver activities on budget and to agreed timescales

Successful delivery of 12 channel partner training courses

Successful delivery of three regional channel partner conferences (EMEA, AMS, APAC)

Experience:

Essential
      • 5-10 years marketing communications experience
      • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
      • Previous experience in a channel partner marketing role
Desirable
      • Previous experience in the IT security industry

Essential
      • A marketing or related business degree or equivalent
Desirable
      • Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma (CIM)
