Our rapid growth has led to an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented finance business partner to work within the FP&A function reporting to the Head of FP&A. The finance business partner will be responsible for global sales performance reporting and the maintenance of sales commissions as well as supporting the Head of FP&A and CFO to drive the business to achieve its financial targets. 

 

The role warrants a high level of autonomy, accountability, and attention to detail – demonstrating a proactive, and systematic approach in providing outstanding service to internal, non-Finance, clients. This role holder should be equally comfortable working both independently, as well as within a global matrix environment.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

 

Global sales and gross margin performance reporting and commentary (40%):

  • Global sales reporting, analysis and commentary by product/region/channel
  • Delivery of period, quarter and yearly reporting of sales and gross Margins
  • Analysing for commercial drivers for finance, executive stakeholders
  • Creation of sales dashboard/reports
  • Deal tracking by region
  • To provide accounting expertise relating to sales, gross margin
  • Support budgeting and rolling forecasting process for sales and gross Margin
  • Supporting senior stakeholders during sales review meetings

 

Management of sales commission process (50%):

  • Calculation and administration of sales commission
  • Sales vs quota reporting and tracking
  • Sales commissions ROI and efficiency analysis
  • Quota targeting and validation
  • Monthly accrual calculation
  • Quarterly commission review meetings
  • Payroll commission submission
  • Forecasting sales commission
  • Finance lead in annual quota target setting process
  • Maintain strong financial governance and controls

 

Process Improvement/Adhoc analysis/Master data and project work (10%):

  • Identify and execute opportunities for process improvements via automation and standardisation and support or manage the implementation of changes

  • Maintenance of master data relating to cost centres/general ledger accounts/project codes

  • Provide ad-hoc information, support and liaison where required

  • Support strategic projects impacting sales and commissions

 Qualifications and Skills: 
  • Experience forecasting sales, gross margin and sales incentive programs
  • Advanced level MS excel skills with the ability manipulate large complex data sets and automate report creations

  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the confidence to challenge others

  • Attention to detail and able to provide accurate analysis and performance reporting

  • Demonstrates ability to influence to achieve buy-in from key stakeholders; communicates effectively and inspires people at all levels

  • Excellent time management, organisation and planning skills

  • Analytical and problem solving skills including ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret financial and business data
