Field Marketing Manager, Southern Europe, nCipher Segment (French language required)

Position Overview

The Field Marketing Manager - Southern Europe is responsible for developing, driving, and executing on an annual southern Europe regional marketing plan with a focus on France. 


Working with senior leaders across sales, channel, and with the rest of the marketing team, the individual will drive and accelerate field and channel marketing campaigns.  This individual will establish marketing priorities, plans, budget allocations and KPI dashboards.  The campaigns can be leveraged through the world as applicable.


The role will align and leverage positioning, messaging, and other information regarding products and services to target and generate high quality leads and pipeline. This role also need to make sure the voice of the customer is feedback to the rest of the organization and incorporated into our ongoing campaigns.  Ultimately, the successful candidate will have a good balance between strategy and execution that fully enables the region to achieve the business goals set forth in the annual plan.


This role will report to the Director, EMEA Field Marketing.

  • Develop the annual regional marketing plan for Southern Europe in consultation with the business segment leadership, the regional sales team, and the rest of the marketing functions.  This plan should include MQL, SQL, pipeline, revenue, channel, awareness and operational efficiency goals, key supporting marketing programs and timing, budget allocations, success measures, and demonstrate a full understanding of customer targets and segments critical to the success of the business.
  • Drive and create targeted campaigns leveraging digital and direct marketing tools such as email, social media platform, adwords, webcast, content syndication, direct mail, seminars, and events
  • Works closely with corporate centers of excellence to build and flawlessly execute major marketing programs, amplifying regionally where applicable.
  • Working closely with our channel marketing team to deliver channel enablement training and “Channel-Ready” campaigns that are highly scalable and readily executable by partners.
  • Tracking KPIs, especially marketing contributions to the pipeline and revenue.
  • Serves as the “face of marketing” for our sales teams.  Communicates planned programs based on segment priority, continually gathers feedback on market needs and opportunities to share with sales, marketing center of excellence, and business segment.
  • Managing localization of assets outside of the corporate campaign deliverables and core languages
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors’ Degree in marketing or business
  • 7+ years of experience in Field/Channel Marketing for B2B software or technology company, with proven ability to deliver consistently strong measurable results
  • 3+ years’ experience working with-in information security industry and on one of our key vertical segments: Finance, Government, and/or Enterprise
  • Experienced in demand generation through physical and digital marketing channels
  • Native in French
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • Security Industry Experience required
  • Thrives in fast-paced environment – has ability to flex based on the needs of the business and negotiate trade-offs with stakeholders. Ability to manage through ambiguity or other situations when all the data isn’t clear or available.
  • Solid strategic skills and capacity to understand business from a market, region, P&L and product perspective
  • Clear business thinker. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Can harness PowerPoint for clear, impactful business presentations and meetings.
  • Spanish or Italian language proficiency a plus
