Basic Qualifications:
  • 2 year technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years IT experience
  • 2+ years of High Availability, High Security, Internet Datacenter Experience and the requisite rigor needed to operate in that environment
  • Strong Authentication and Identity Management Platform Experience
  • Detailed design skills for all application components in the web, app, and data layers.
  • Detailed application documentation skills and experience
  • Design and deployment experience with most of the following technologies:  Apache Tomcat, VMWare, Red Hat Linux, PostgreSQL, and SafeNet HSMs
  • Design or provide specifications for hardware/software
  • Analyze, install, acquire, modify and support operating systems, applications, databases or utilities software
  • Perform product evaluations and make product recommendations
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization for the USA and ability to travel freely to Canada and internationally
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with PKIs and related technologies (LDAP directories, HSMs, OCSP) and security practices
  • Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL
  • Working knowledge of Entrust suite of PKI/SSL/IDG products (training will be provided, if required)
  • Working knowledge of RedHat Directory Services
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale technical service via IaaS-enabled infrastructures
  • Hands-on experience with Safenet or nCipher Hardware Security Modules
  • Knowledge of networking and network devices (Cisco, Juniper)
  • CCNA, RHCE, VCP, CISSP or similar certification
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, C++ programming and other languages will be a strong asset
  • Familiarity with automation platforms such as Ansible and Chef.
  • Working knowledge of PKI policy and audit compliance
