Position Overview: 

The Partner Community Manager will be the primary project lead for the Channel Partner Portal and Channel Learning Management System (LMS) projects supporting the Entrust Datacard Channel and Strategic Alliances initiative for 2019 (FY20).  The role will drive and support these two initiatives working with the channel and alliance subject matter experts, the business stakeholders, IT functional leaders and other identified team members.  The Partner Community Manager responsibilities include defining project scope- (both in and out of scope), business requirements across all segments, identity management /single sign-on requirements, content integration strategy with Workfront (marketing), new processes to support the business requirements, and updating/modification of current processes, migration strategy for existing portals, project phases/timeline and business/process requirements for seamless integration with identified platforms, such as Saleforce.  This role is required to be a subject matter expert in building best-in-class partner communities, including partner portals, channel marketing tools, channel enablement tools and/or Learning Management Systems. Prior experience in building and implementing a partner community across multiple channel profiles and business segments on a global basis is required.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implementation of a world-class portal and Learning Management System (LMS) experience for our partners, collaborating across the organization
  • Collaborating with IT and the business stakeholders to define the identity management strategy (in scope and out of scope) for the Q4 phase 1 launch.  Determine the source of truth for partner permissions, including access to partner portal and LMS, and building a foundation for future growth.
  • Scoping, developing and writing business requirements for the partner portal and the LMS platform across all segments, globally.  Business requirements and implementation timeline may be phased out depending on priorities, resources and budget.
  • Subject matter expert for channel portal implementation and channel LMS implementation to deliver best-in-class digital experience.
  • Collaborate with content and business owners for application deployment, changes and identifying the new processes, and opportunities for process and quality improvements
  • Create a LMS content training process that can support both individual training workflow, certification workflow and learning course progression workflow.  Workflows need to take into consideration partner profiles, cross-segment selling and restricted access.
  • Based on the business requirements, create various business processes/workflow for the partner portal implementation/launch, including every specific task/activity that is a new functionality or an update to current business processes.

  • Define LMS platform requirements based on input from the business stakeholders, including cross segments, sales, service, and support
  • Responsible for design, development, implementation requirements, and delivery of the partner portal-
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to troubleshoot, update and deploy implementation
  • Industry expert and provide industry best practices and offer solutions
  • Be partner community and LMS SME for channel initiatives including partner portal and LMS
  • Coordinate the review, testing and implementation plan
Deliverable/Metric: 1) Partner Portal launch by the end of Q4 based on the business requirements/phase. 2) Channel LMS business requirements and sales and training methodology by the end of Q4 based on the business requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success in delivering A+ partner experience and engagement programs, ideally in technology and/or consumer-related industries
  • Experience selecting, managing, and maintaining technology/business systems including community management, web analytics, channel marketing automation, and performance management tools. Salesforce, Zift Solutions, Zinfi, Oracle, and Cornerstone experience a plus.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, strategic initiatives
  • Process and systems background especially across marketing and sales
  • Ability to clearly articulate business requirements, track ROI, and present success to Channel Initiative cross-functional team
