Entrust Datacard has made a strategic investment in UK-Based CensorNet after acquiring its Multi-Factor Authentication Technology Solution.

 

This new relationship and investment in CensorNet has presented opportunities for collaboration to enhance both companies’ offerings and re-shape the market together to provide real-time threat awareness solutions.

 

The Role

As a result of this collaboration a new opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join the Entrust Datacard team in our Reading office.  The role will be responsible for selling the complete CensorNet portfolio into mid to large enterprise customers in the UK&I. 


Main Activities

  • Prospect new logo revenue within the mid-large enterprise space (1000-5000+ users)
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy for target accounts in mid-enterprise market.
  • Weekly pipeline generation activities in Salesforce.
  • Compile and report monthly and quarterly forecasts Enable channel partners to promote and deliver CensorNet solutions.
  • Manage inbound leads through to opportunities and closed business.
  • Ensure accurate and predictable forecasting on a weekly basis.
  • Attend customer meetings and webex sessions to present the portfolio and demonstrate the solution.
  • Achieve sales budget for each quarter.
The person

We are looking for a driven, proven, entrepreneurial new business sales professional. To be successful in this role, it is important that the BDM takes responsibility and ownership and is diligent to ensure achievement of targets.  The BDM must work at all organisational levels within the customer’s environment from technical, sales and operational contacts through to CIO, CISO, MD and CEO.

 
Knowledge & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • +5 years track record within end user focused role, selling into the mid-large enterprise market. Software sales preferred.
  • Base knowledge of IT Security and good knowledge about Cloud, Web and Email Security
  • Demonstrable selling skills with examples of large end user-based project/account wins.
  • Excellent oral/written communications skills, including strong presentation skills.
  • Technically competent with an ability to learn and communicate the technical aspects of the CensorNet solution to a reasonable level of depth. 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and leveraging CRM as a sales tool.
  • Excellent customer-engagement and relationship-building skills.
 
Package
  • Attractive salary-package combined with a fixed salary and bonus/commission (60/40 split).
  • 3% employer pension contributions, £250 towards gym fees, flexible working, 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, life and critical illness insurance and private medical insurance.
