Position Overview

The Associate Sales Operations Manager will be focused on enabling the sales organization to achieve both current and future business critical objectives. This includes the design, development, and facilitation of programs for all levels of Entrust Datacard Sales. This role will partner closely with all departments to remove roadblocks and continually deliver efficiencies for the sales team by advocating and fostering a sales focused culture within the company.


Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations, you will help contribute to the overall success of the entire sales organization and help drive sales excellence across all Entrust Datacard business verticals.

  • Track and manage projects to execution, ensuring accuracy in sales reporting, metric analysis, sales recognition and workflows to monitor overall sales health
  • Represent sales in global operations-oriented projects such as new product introductions, new systems, tools or processes. Work collaboratively within project teams and communicate status, actions and aims to the team as per the requirements of the project
  • Conduct and provide analysis of sales key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Design, document, and implement specific initiatives to improve data hygiene and security, improve sales team throughput and efficiency
  • Lead projects relating to the advancement of sales operations initiatives
  • Measure, analyze and report results to support informed, fact-based business decisions which drive improved performance for the supported functions
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for major sales initiatives and programs. This often involves starting with a fairly undefined problem, identifying trends and issues, synthesizing and reporting the results
  • Extract business insights from data and translate into actionable business recommendations that drive sales growth
  • Develop sales leadership presentations to communicate results in a succinct, easy-to-understand manner, to all levels of the organization
  • Presenting analysis and reporting to executive level audience
  • Support the Director, Sales Operations in managing the day to day rhythm of sales operations

Who You Are

You have strong analytical skills, are detail oriented, and possess excellent collaboration skills to form relationships across the organization. You are “multi-lingual” speaking Finance, Marketing, Product, IT and Sales. You will become a trusted advisor and “go-to” person for the leaders and teams they support. You are an exceptionally organized individual and work extremely well managing competing deadlines. You are clear and concise in communication and understand how to navigate a matrixed organization effectively and with a friendly demeanor.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations and/or business systems preferably in a software/technology business
  • Intermediate Excel skills & experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to C-level executives
  • Agile, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building and/or managing a sales operations team a plus but not required
  • Previous deal desk and/or revenue recognition experience
  • Administrator and/or Trailblazer
  • PMP
  • Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact
  • Analytical and demonstrated ability to extract key business insights through data analysis
  • Proven Salesforce subject matter expert with experience creating reports, optimizing processes, training new hires and developing/managing dashboards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks; proven strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Track record in driving change and removing hurdles in fast growth organizations by working cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance and IT
  • Advanced Excel skills with a strong understanding of Salesforce, other CRM applications and email marketing strategies
